“Sweeney is very good as well not sure on price.”
“JZ carpentry, Yellow dog, Heartwood Builders, Lewis Creek, Sweeney Design Build, Silver Maple Construction.”
The way I see their trucks driving says a lot about the people who would be running a job site. Especially this morning 2/17/26 high speed weaving through cars at 8:30 on Shelburne Rd around Bay Dr. Poor advertising and very unprofessional.
This team of amazing carpenters, plumbers, electricians, dry wall, tile, painters...and then there is Shawn who is larger then life, wonderful, and accommodating to all of our requests and change orders...(many change orders) Shawn made us feel like family.. Austin did a great job with the design and Beth kept it all together.. what a great experience.
Shawn, Austin and the Sweeney Design team are professional, fun and exciting to work with. It is wonderful to have the support of a high quality design team when undertaking a first time renovation. From the get go their ability to listen and customize our wish list into drawings and designs and then revisit modifications with improvements to continue to better the vision was an enjoyable process and experience. The flow from design to build was extremely fluid. The contracting team was amazing. The daily work ethic, attention to detail and pride they put into our house is something we continue to experience even months after the renovation completed. As well, the subcontractors and supply/design stores that collaborate up with Sweeney Design are top notch and very inclusive, and friendly to work with. Our renovation experience was very special and our house after residing in for 18 years finally feels like our own. Thank you SDB. Dawn & Darren
We absolutely loved working with Sweeney Designbuild. They listened to our dreams and made them a reality. Extremely professional from beginning to end From the designing of the space, taking the time to understanding what we were looking for, giving us options before starting, picking out the appliances, cabinet handles, etc. We appreciated the respect of our budget and discussing change costs prior to making changes so that there were no surprises. Lastly- the crew on site were amazing. When living through the remodel we got to know the crew and they were incredibly respectful of us and our home! Thank you!!
An extensive renovation project that was done extremely well. The design process was smooth and well thought out. The renovations were well coordinated with the many sub contractors required, and the carpentry work was masterful. Communication throughout the project, including during the early months of the pandemic, was always strong; this included weekly meetings that ensured the project was proceeding according to the plan that was updated or adjusted if desired. Kevin, the lead carpenter on our project, was exceptional both in his work and as a person.
