Eighty-six permits and one review is an unusual ratio, and it makes Temirbek Aituganov's record easier to read from the permits than from the praise. Those permits run from 2019 to April 2025 and are mostly ordinary residential work — bathrooms, kitchens, gas lines and boilers — pulled across Methuen, Boston, Brookline, Belmont, Brighton, Sharon, Marblehead, Watertown, Newton Highlands, Chestnut Hill, Roxbury Crossing, Dorchester and East Falmouth, with two commercial food-service fit-outs mixed in: a restaurant kitchen in Methuen and a panini shop in Boston. He lists a Cambridge PO box rather than a shopfront. The one customer account is short and positive. In June 2025 a homeowner with a leaking pipe from a toilet gave five stars and described prompt, courteous work from start to finish at what they called reasonable quotes. That is a single voice on a small job, not a pattern — but it is specific about the thing homeowners care about, and it lines up with the small-repair shape of the permit list. The licensing block is where care is needed. The same number, 15614, appears three times under three different labels: a plumber licence BuildZoom last saw expiring May 2026, a master plumber entry it last saw expiring May 2016 — ten years earlier — and a municipal plumbing contractor record marked inactive and at one point cancelled. A fourth number, 31162, is another cancelled municipal registration. Every record carries BuildZoom's "License Not Verified" flag, and none of it has been checked against the state registry here. For a leak, a boiler, or a gas line in the Boston area, the permit history shows someone who does exactly that work at volume. Ask for the current master plumber number and look it up with the state yourself, and ask for a few recent references — one review is a thin basis for a decision this size.
