The Axxion Company, LLC

The Axxion Company is a Holyoke general contractor whose Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, held under the company's own name. It says it was established in 2015 and works across Western Massachusetts, offering engineering design, masonry, roofing, siding, asbestos abatement, demolition, framing, drywall, electrical and plumbing, including exterior work at height, on both commercial and residential jobs. Its stated coverage runs to nearly fifty Hampden and Hampshire county towns, from Springfield and Chicopee out to Cummington and Chesterfield. The one independent account of its work is an institutional one. In a December 2022 project update, Holyoke's MIFA Victory Theatre recorded that Axxion removed the theatre's fire escapes — the rear and alleyway structures, deteriorating from age and disuse — along with vine overgrowth and trees. That is demolition and abatement work on a historic building, which fits what the company says it does. On the consumer side there is very little to go on: Google shows 4 stars from two ratings, and its BBB profile carries an A+ grade with no complaints, though the business is not BBB accredited. The company describes itself as managed by a team with more than 40 years of combined experience, and lists Eric Taub as the contact. This is a reasonable call for demolition, abatement, masonry and exterior work in the Springfield–Holyoke area, particularly on older or commercial buildings. Because so little is written down about it, ask for two or three recent references on a job like yours and confirm the registration number against the state register before you sign.
