Caoin Springer O'Durgy paints murals, and the ones written about are as likely to be on a town pavilion as a nursery wall. The Holliston Town News photographed him in October 2024 at work on a mural on the Blair Square Pavilion. A gazettenet.com story in January 2025 described him letting Belchertown children help design a community mural he was painting. And in May 2026 a customer had him paint a giraffes-and-blueberries mural in her son's room before the baby was born. The Good Boy Collective works out of Somerville - a small group of artists Caoin leads, by its LinkedIn description - and Thumbtack lists it at two years in business with 34 projects and a 5.0 rating from four reviewers. What it offers there is narrow and specific: interior painting, mural work, and decorative faux finishes. The written accounts are few but consistent about how he works. A restaurant owner wrote in May 2025 about a mural designed and executed to fit a small space, one she says customers still comment on. Another customer that month called him collaborative and good value on a mural installation. A third, who hosted a market he took part in, described him as responsive and punctual, and said he adapted when the weather turned. Two things to weigh before calling. This is a two-year-old business with four written reviews, all from 2025 and 2026, so there is not much history behind it yet. And a good share of what has been published about the collective is community and event mural work rather than household jobs - useful for judging the art, less so for judging a room repaint. For a mural, a decorative finish, or a room where the paint is meant to be the feature, this is the call to make. Settle the design, the surface prep and how many revisions are included before he starts.

“Caoin, leading his team The Good Boy Collective – a trans-led group of artists dedicated to fostering support and collaboration within the artistic community – brings a unique illustrative style that beautifully captures the essence of Holliston’s past, present, and future. In addition to the main mural, Caoin has designed murals for two electric boxes (check out Caoin’s Instagram for more photos - @cspringerillo). Stay tuned for details on the upcoming community celebration event where the mural and electric box designs will be officially unveiled!”

We had the best experience with The Good Boy Collective!! We had a mural for our son’s room painted before he was born. My baby’s nursery theme is giraffes & blueberries and he was able to not only create the most perfect, adorable and high quality art, he also made the giraffes have the same style as my husband and I, as if they were us!!! The Good Boy Collective produces very high quality and beautiful work while also having quick response times and high levels of professionalism. I could not be more happy that I chose The Good Boy Collective for our mural!!
Caoin was an absolute delight to work with! Super collaborative, creative, excellent value, and brought sunshine to our mural installation! Would love to work with him again anytime.
Working with The Good Boy Collective was wonderful. We hosted a market that they participated in and they were always responsive, super punctual, their work was gorgeous, and they pivoted expertly when the weather didn't agree with us! We'd definitely work with them again (and we also purchased a few items for gifts - great value!).
Caoin painted a beautiful mural in my small restaurant! He’s exceptionally creative and talented, and was able to design and execute an idea that fits perfectly. Everyone is always so impressed by it, and I love how it adds so much charm and character to the space. Highly recommend him for any of your mural painting needs!!
