The Good Home Interiors & Design

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with The Good Home Interiors and Design. They truly offer a soup-to-nuts approach to home renovation—from the initial design of your project all the way through execution. Lisa takes the time to get to know you personally and really understand your needs, preferences, and vision. Once the design is complete, she seamlessly steps into the role of general contractor, coordinating an excellent team of talented subcontractors. Lisa, her assistant Macauley, and every member of their team have been incredibly talented, responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely dedicated to our project. And if you’ve ever said, “All home improvement projects take much longer than expected,” The Good Home is here to prove you wrong! Our kitchen/dining area renovation was completed three days ahead of schedule, which was an amazing surprise. We were so pleased with the entire experience that we’ve already hired The Good Home for a second project. They’ll be starting our primary bathroom renovation next week, and we couldn’t be more excited. If you’re looking for a design-and-build team that combines creativity, craftsmanship, communication, and professionalism, we highly recommend The Good Home Interiors and Design.

We had a wonderful experience working with Lisa and her team from start to finish. They communicated clearly and consistently throughout the entire process, making everything feel organized and stress-free. Her design recommendations were excellent, and she was always responsive to our input and questions. Their team of contractors was excellent—high quality, professional, efficient, and clearly committed to doing great work. We were extremely happy with the results and would highly recommend them.

OUTSTANDING! Lisa and her team completed a three-part project for us, including custom built-in furniture (desks, shelves, side-board, interior wall), carpets, wall paper, lighting... Every aspect of working with The Good Home was excellent. Lisa is so creative, thoughtful, professional. She has super high standards for every aspect of the job. Lisa was always organized, on-time, excellent communication regarding all aspects of the job. And we loved all her subcontractors. Lisa and her team transformed the spaces in our home! Lisa was clear about the costs and expectations. The jobs were all completed on time with no budget over-runs and no surprises. We loved Lisa's energy and creative solutions to transforming the spaces in our home -- using unique designs, emphasized local materials when possible, and really meeting our specific goals. We would definitely 100% work with Lisa and her team again in the future, if we have the chance!

We worked with Lisa on a major kitchen renovation and addition to our 1800s farmhouse and will never do another project without her! She is nothing short of amazing! Lisa’s expertise was invaluable, and I honestly don’t know how we could have done it without her. I found The Good Home on the internet and right from the first meeting we knew we would be in good hands with Lisa in charge of the project. We had some definite ideas of what we did and didn’t want after having lots of time during the pandemic to think about the project. Lisa listened to everything we said and immediately identified the need for a pantry, something that we never thought of despite all our planning. The whole process from design to completion went unbelievably smooth. Lisa consistently kept us informed of the schedule and budget, worked with us on the design decisions, and was always available to answer our questions. She and her crew were absolutely wonderful to work with, such great people, and since we lived in the house during the renovation we got to see them in action on a daily basis. All aspects of the project were done to the highest standards and with the utmost professionalism and the attention to detail was amazing! The result was an absolutely stunning renovation we still can’t believe is ours! Thank you Lisa!

I have reviewed Lisa in the past but cannot resist another chance to express how pleased I am with the bedroom design that she just completed in our home. Lisa has done several projects in our home but I think this one is my favorite. The photos speak for themselves. Lisa and all of her wonderful contractors really created a wonderful space for my husband and myself. We cannot thank her enough.
