The Moms Painting Company

The name is the pitch. The Moms Painting Company is a Medway crew that works indoors — walls, cabinets, wallpaper removal, patching and color consultations — across a ring of MetroWest and Norfolk County towns running from Newton and Wellesley out to Franklin, Bellingham and Wrentham. Melinda Harvey says she turned a design sense and a knack for networking into full-time painting in 2019 and that, in her telling, "word spread quickly and Moms Painting Company began." Seven years on she still owns and runs it, working alongside Susan St. Amand, Wayne Lundberg and Irena Cascella. The open web supports that word-of-mouth story better than any review site does. In 2020 a local photographer who shot the crew wrote, "Need a painter? These women are who you want… I highly recommend them," noting Harvey had previously been half of a company called Two Mom's and Paintbrush. In May 2023 the Medway & Millis Local Town Pages ran a feature by Jane Lebak headlined "Entrust Your Home to the Hands of a Mom." The company describes itself as woman-owned. That is its own description, not a registry-verified certification. What is not here is a customer's own account. No reviews turned up on Google or the directories, so the two things written about this crew in public are a neighbor's recommendation and a local paper's profile, both a few years old now. Interior-painting-only work needs no Massachusetts registration, so there is no licence to look up either. They read as the small referral outfit they say they are. Ask for two recent references in towns near yours and photos of a finished cabinet job — for a crew whose reputation runs on word of mouth, that is the check that actually works.
