The Other Guys Moving Company is a small, Marlborough-based crew that people call for local moves and U-Haul rentals. A 2017 Boston Magazine profile described it as a husband-and-wife-run outfit that opened its doors in 2010. On Google, five reviews posted between 2023 and 2026 are uniformly five stars. The most detailed, from January 2026, credits Rene and Brandon by name — Rene fielding questions outside normal business hours during a U-Haul rental, Brandon working through the move carefully and deliberately. Earlier reviews from 2023 and 2025 are shorter but tell the same story: on time, careful with belongings, easy to coordinate with. For a local move or a U-Haul rental handled by a small, hands-on team, the reviews point one direction — just don't expect a large crew or a big-city operation.

“Great guys! Fast and eficient movers.”
I cannot recommend Rene and his team enough! While I’ve seen their work firsthand, what really stands out is their professionalism and expertise. Rene is U-Haul certified and made my recent rental a total breeze. He went above and beyond, answering questions outside of normal hours and ensuring everything was set up for a completely hassle-free experience. A huge shoutout to Brandon as well—it’s clear there is a strategic way to move, and he’s mastered it. He is incredibly careful, strong, and intentional with every item he handles. Whether you’re looking for a smooth rental process or a team that actually knows the science of moving safely and efficiently, this is the company to call. 10/10 service!
