The Siding Guys is a Connecticut exterior contractor that says on its website it has specialized for over 20 years in installing and repairing siding, roofing, windows and doors. A recent Google customer had new vinyl siding installed and said Isaac gave them a thorough overview with helpful recommendations and communicated every step of the way. A customer who had their house resided with Hardie Board said it looks like a brand new house, that the installation crew left the yard clean and orderly every day, and that Robert, the salesman and fill-in project manager, was responsive to their concerns during demolition and reinstall. A 2024 customer said the company began on the start date it gave, worked 10 hours a day through storms and cold to finish on time, and was the lowest of several quotes. That 2024 customer also said the trim around each window and door was left mitered and squared. A 2023 customer said Dominick replaced several wind-damaged aluminum rake board pieces and installed two top trims on two windows. A 2022 customer said the company did their siding and roofing, replaced their picture window and secured their deck, with no hidden costs. A 2022 reviewer wrote that they patched the aftermath of a bay window removal on short notice, blending new siding into siding almost 30 years old. A 2025 Google customer wrote, "Wish I chose the other siding company." That 2025 customer said the price was $5,500 more than another quote, that Robert was not onsite for most of the job after saying he would oversee the team, that the installation crew covered the electrical outlet for a flood light, that a backyard security camera was damaged, and that there was no follow-up upon completion. A 2025 commenter in r/Connecticut praised their roofing and siding work. Its Better Business Bureau page shows accreditation and an A+ grade. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0650381, as active, held by The Siding Guys LLC.
“They do roofing and siding and their work is top notch.”
The Siding Guys did an amazing job installing new vinyl siding on our house. We worked with Isaac, who gave us a very thorough overview with some very helpful recommendations. He is a true professional and communicated with us every step of the way. We got multiple quotes and The Siding Guys were very competitive. The crew was wonderful - extremely hard working, polite, and tidy. They were extremely meticulous with every step of the project and made sure every square inch of my house was done right. The end product looks fantastic. This company exceeded our expectations and we would pick them again in a heartbeat. We have been receiving a lot of compliments on our house - thank you Isaac and a special shout out to Christian and his crew!
I've worked with Steve and the siding guys in the past. They're a great company who recently helped me resign a property of mine. They were on time fixed more than they said they were going to and the experience was easy and pleasant
The Siding Guys resided my House with Hardie Board and it looks like a brand new house. The installation crew was amazing everyday they left the yard very clean and orderly. Robert the salesman and fill in project manager was very responsive to many of my concerns during demolition and reinstall the new siding, he worked with me to get it right the first time.He is not your average high pressure salesman and listens to what the customer wants and expects.Thank you Benito and your amazing crew for a job well done.
Wish I chose the other siding company. It turned out ok, BUT... 1) They were $5,500 more than other quote. That $$$ is about the cost of the "extra" material purchased and then removed from my property the day after completion (they will probably resell it to the next person). Watch those contracts!! 2) Robert said he would oversee the team, but was not onsite for most of the job (text and called me without reviewing the contract EARLY while I was away on vacation to ask questions that were in the contract). 3) Installation crew covered / sealed the electrical outlet for the flood light (now electrician will have to drill a new hole). 4) Damaged this security camera for the backyard 5) no follow-up upon completion to see if we are satisfied - obviously we had issues.
The job was for siding replacement. Here are some points worth noting: 1) Timing: They gave me a start date and began on that date. They worked 10 hours each day including through storms and cold to complete the job on time. 2) Price: Out of multiple quotes, they were the lowest price. 3) Cleanup: They left virtually no mess largely because one of the workers spent most of her time cleaning up as the work was being performed. 4) Quality Workmanship: The attention to detail was remarkable. I went around the house and did not see a single bad cut. The trim around each window and door was left perfectly mitered and squared. 5) Workers: All workers were polite and respectful. 6) Materials: The materials used were all high quality. 7) Modifications: There was some plywood that needed to be replaced and other adjustments to the originally agreed upon project and all prices for the additional work came in lower than I was expecting. 8) Neighbors: We have gotten multiple calls and texts from neighbors commenting on how good the house now looks.
