Three Seasons Landscape is a Harvard, Massachusetts landscaping company founded and run by brothers Michael and Timothy Hood, offering residential and commercial landscaping, tree care, masonry, lawn, drainage, planting and mulch services; the company also sells firewood, Christmas trees and garden-center goods from its Harvard location. The company's own site says the Hoods have been in business together just over 15 years, while Angi and HomeAdvisor separately credit the business with 23 years of experience. The review record is deep and consistently strong across landscaping-specific jobs: 32 written reviews from 2019 through 2026 across Google and Angi, feeding a 4.7-star average from 38 Google ratings and a perfect 5.0 from 8 ratings each on Angi and HomeAdvisor. The specifics span years of varied hardscape and yard work — stabilizing a sloped driveway edge with graded base and crushed stone, clearing more than an acre of overgrowth including small unwanted trees and leaf buildup, installing a pea-gravel driveway with cobblestone edging alongside foundation-repair excavation, designing and planting a difficult sloped yard, and multiple tree-removal jobs. Reviewers repeatedly credit Mike (and, in some reviews, Tim and Rob) for responsive communication, creative design input, and crews that clean up thoroughly; several long-time customers describe using the company since as early as 2016 for repeat projects. Two lower-rated reviews on file are about the business's garden-center retail side rather than its landscaping work: a 1-star review complains that a bag of potting soil cost more than at a competitor, and a 3-star review notes a small holiday-item selection. Neither describes a landscaping job gone wrong. For yard cleanups, drainage or slope work, hardscaping, or tree care in the Harvard/Central Mass area, this is a deeply and consistently documented landscaper with years of specific, detailed praise for the actual work; the retail-pricing complaints are worth knowing about but don't reflect on the landscaping services themselves.
Absolutely excellent job by Michael Hood and his team. We have an old family cottage that sits in a rocky area on the pond and has never had any kind of landscaping. Even though we were away during the whole process, Michael was completely on the ball. His crew was neat and hard working and the results were better than expected. His plant selections were thoughtful and well planned. They did a great job laying down gravel, rock, and mulch. We hope to continue working with this company for years to come. What a problem-solving group of guys!
Mike and crew did an incredible job installing new sloped lawn area to stabilize that side of the driveway. I was impressed with Mike's assessment and solution for preventing an eventual collapse of part of the driveway as well as ensuring ongoing access to the new lawn area. Responsive, pleasant company to work with! Looking forward to calling Mike for additional projects I have in mind!
Three Seasons Landscaping did an outstanding job with tree removal at my home. They were responsive, knowledgeable, and offered very competitive pricing. The team was professional from start to finish, and even went above and beyond by taking care of a couple of extra trees at no additional cost. Bonus points: they brought treats for my dogs when I took them out—definitely a thoughtful touch! Highly recommend.
We have been using Three Seasons Landscape since 2016 for various projects around our house, and couldn't be more pleased with the service they have provided. Mike and the team at Three Seasons Landscape are friendly, clean up after themselves, and we have always been satisfied with the finished product, and costs associated. They have helped us with things like regrading our gravel driveway, field cutting, installing our granite mailbox, cleaning up dead trees, tree trimming, and many other landscaping projects. Thanks Mike!
I called Three Seasons in a pinch. I had recently moved to the house I'm in now and was planning my daughter's graduation party when I realized the yard needed a complete clean-up. Mike came out, looked at it and committed to getting it in done in time for the party. They showed up when they said they would and did a fantastic job! I highly recommend Three Seasons.
