A recent Google customer who has heating and cooling with the company said Sue, Tony and the technicians have always been knowledgeable, helpful and professional. A 2026 customer wrote that the household woke up to no heat at 7 degrees as a big snowstorm began, and Sue sent out a technician within the hour and took care of it. A 2024 r/Connecticut commenter who named "Standard Oil / Thurston's" said they rent their tanks and that deliveries came like clockwork. A 2025 customer said Sue was always reachable and that the company was willing to do payment plans. A 2021 customer who had moved from out of state said the phone was answered right away, without being put on hold. A 2021 customer who uses its propane service said a past-due bill they never received was looked into, and a few days later everything was set. A 2022 customer gave one star, calling the company not professional, not friendly and super high in prices.
