Timothy J Seaton Painting is a house painter working across Cape Cod, with customers citing jobs in Provincetown and Truro alongside interior and exterior residential painting. Every review on file is five stars, and the writing is unusually specific: homeowners describe Tim finding and repairing cracks, nail pops, and water-damaged drywall before painting, sanding and patching walls and trim to a smooth finish, and matching trim lines and color joins precisely. One reviewer credits him with restoring painted surfaces in a circa-1700 home to a period-appropriate finish, calling it meticulous preservation work rather than a routine paint job. Others describe him catching problems mid-project, including alerting a homeowner to a storm-driven roof leak and laying down protective sheeting before it caused damage. Reviewers consistently describe him as responsive, punctual, and easy to reach for updates, and several note the work came in on time and within budget. Google shows a 4.7-star average from 13 ratings, in line with the written reviews. One thing worth confirming before booking: the state registry shows his Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor license (HIC 202799) as expired, so homeowners should ask about current licensing status directly. For a homeowner on the Cape looking for careful interior or exterior painting, especially work on an older home where matching trim and repairing underlying damage matters, the review history here is deep and specific. Confirm the license status and current availability before scheduling.

Outstanding performance Goes above and beyond Highly recommend
Tim did an incredible job fixing a lot of the previous paint work done in our house and left it feeling brand new. He also did some detail work on some of our fixtures and window hardware which added a whole new level of elegance to our space. Tim is incredibly talented and I highly recommend him!
Tim is extremely skilful craftsman whose knowledge in restoration projects is on point! Looking forward for future cooperations!
Tim and his crew do great work. I contacted him to inquire about some small repair work including screen and door replacements, a result of winter storm damage, along with some interior and exterior painting. They were very careful with their prep work and completed the job in a timely and efficient manner. Their work is top notch and I would highly recommend them. Tim is responsive and he and his crew take care and pride in the their work, they won’t disappoint!
Tim just finished painting the interior of our entire house. But that’s not all he did, because Tim is not “just” a painter - he is a true craftsman. Tim fixed simple cracks, major splits in ceiling and wall seams, nail pops, prepped and sanded all the trim and walls, and THEN he painted. Beautifully. Trim edges and lines were perfect and differing colors meeting at a joint or wall edge were perfect. He is organized and kept our house neat and clean after each day’s work. Everything I always expected from painters and never got, Tim delivered. He showed us how a real pro does this kind of a major job. He showed us how a painter that is proud of what he does and cares about results completes the task. In addition, he prepped, sanded and repainted all the bookshelves in our house. He is a respectful professional, and great to work with. We could not recommend him highly enough.
