I was planning to paint my kitchen cabinets myself this summer. A much needed refresh without the cost of a full renovation. It also would have taken me months. So with my Home Depot cart full of everything I could possibly need and just waiting for me to click checkout, I reached out to five cabinet painters on my local Facebook page to see what hiring it out would run. Tommy was the first person I contacted and the first to respond, almost immediately. He quoted me off a video I sent, and the price wasn't just reasonable, it was great. Four days for a job I had blocked out my whole summer for. Then he called to talk it through, and came out in person to look at the space. What sold me was his realness. He is exactly who he says he is. Honest, hardworking, knowledgeable, skilled. I felt like I had known him, or someone like him, my whole life. His communication before, during, and after the job was impeccable. Once we scheduled, he and his helper Jeff showed up on time every single day and finished the work to perfection. I was happy enough that I hired him again to do the walls, ceilings, and trim in my kitchen and dining room. Second job as good as the first. I showed him an AI mockup I had put together of what I wanted and he was determined to make it real. He delivered. The man was invested. If you want your cabinets painted, or your walls, or your trim, hire Tommy. You won't regret it.

I never leave bad reviews. This is an exception to my rule. I've been a homeowner for 40 years. (So, Ive dealt with alot of people/Contractors. ) I was shocked at the nastiness and how unprofessional Tommy was. I asked for an estimate to paint a living room. When I questioned his quote of 1700 he was so mad. I promise you I was not upset. I just asked. He actually blocked me. So, if you're like me and looking for home improvement. Be careful out there. Videos dont show the real person all the time.
