The BBB lists Tommy Tree Service as a Lowell sole proprietorship providing tree work, landscaping and excavation-related services. On Angi it holds 4.9 stars from 7 ratings. In a 2012 review, a customer said that after the winds of hurricane Sandy, the owner, Paul, explained two options for taking down tall trees close to the house, a crane or a bucket truck, with the price and the pros and cons of each. That 2012 customer said Paul told them payment was due at the end of the job when they were satisfied, and that 10 trees were taken down over the next two days. The same 2012 customer said the crew arrived later than expected, and that at the end of each day the crew cleared the area and swept the driveway so they could park their cars. A 2013 customer said they had 6 trees removed and the company brought in the cranes to do it. A 2012 customer said the company provided a clear and definitive quote and did what it said it would. A 2017 customer said Tommy's crew cut limbs into sections while avoiding damage to their home and yard in a limited space. A 2011 customer who wanted two more trees cut down said the company left the estimate in the box, had still not come after the customer called, and was hard to get hold of.
It went well, didn't really need the shed ?
Tommy's crew was quick and efficient. Nice people too. Cut limbs into sections while avoiding damage (in my limited space) to my home and yard. Well done.
Fantastic! Prompt service, straight forward prices and solid delivery. Couldn't be happier.
These guys were great! Professional, courteous and responsive. We had 6 trees removed and they brought in the cranes to do it. The clean up was exceptional and we were very happy with the job. We would use them over and over again!
Excellent! They provided a clear and definitive quote. And, they did exactly what they said they would. The yard was so clean, my wife didn't even notice that they had come and gone until I told her!
