A January 2021 customer put the skills plainly: a good painter and a good carpenter who is easy to reach, shows up every day and does a full day's work. Two things to settle before signing. The company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #203085, is recorded on the state registry as expired. For deck, porch and general contracting work in Massachusetts that matters, so ask directly where the registration stands now and who would pull any permit your job needs. The second is the size of the written history: seven customer accounts in all, the newest from September 2024 and four of them from 2021. One of those, from March 2021, is candid about a repair that did not hold — the customer said the gutter fix did not go well at first, but that when they rang back about the leak he came the next day to put it right, and called him a good man. Angi and HomeAdvisor each average 4.8 from 12 ratings, 92% of them five stars, and Google shows 5 stars from seven. He fits a deck, porch, set of steps or exterior repair where you want the person doing the work to be the person you talk to, and where being brought along to pick the materials sounds like a feature rather than a chore.
