Top Choice Hydroseeding

Top Choice Hydroseeding is a Walpole, MA outfit built around one thing: turning a patchy, moss-choked lawn into new grass fast. Brian Burns — a Marine Corps veteran and Boston firefighter who says he trained under Transit Seeding before starting the company — runs it, and the reviews back up the pitch. Fourteen Google reviews from 2023 through 2026 run entirely five stars, and the same story repeats: seeded lawns filling in within weeks, sometimes going from bare dirt or moss to a green yard that draws compliments from neighbors. What shows up again and again isn't just the grass — it's the scheduling. One customer reached out on a Friday afternoon and had a crew on-site Monday morning; several others specifically called out how quickly Top Choice responded and how easy the process was to book. A few reviewers say they've used Brian's crew more than once, a real vote of confidence for a seasonal service. The company's own site describes a broader scope than the reviews cover directly — erosion control, new-development seeding, athletic fields, and municipal and park sites, alongside the residential lawn work most reviewers describe. It also touts a proprietary New England seed mix as part of the process, though the reviews focus more on the result and the crew than the product itself. Top Choice is a straightforward, well-reviewed call for a homeowner who wants a lawn reseeded and doesn't want to wait weeks for a start date — confirm the quote and timeline in writing before booking, particularly for a larger commercial or municipal job.
