TOTAL RESTORATION CONTRACTOR INC.

Total Restoration Contractor is a Wakefield-based remodeling company that describes itself as a kitchen and bathroom remodeling specialist, though its BuildZoom service list runs much wider — new construction, multi-room remodels, roofing, flooring, painting, and decks and porches among them. In a detailed 2020 review, a customer called their bathroom remodel with owner Naldo and his crew one of the smoothest they could imagine — respectful of the home, careful cleanup during demo, help returning ill-fitting materials, daily progress updates, and done in about a week, with results "better than expected." A second 2020 review described a very different experience: an estimate visit for a bulkhead/frame replacement where the contractor stayed on his phone the whole time, took no measurements, then texted a price within five minutes. A 2022 permit on file shows a completed $29,400 bathroom addition in Marblehead. BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor license (#194625) as active, and its page for them lists liability coverage up to $2,000,000 through Evanston Insurance and $500,000 in workers' comp through Liberty Mutual. For a kitchen or bathroom remodel in the Wakefield area, the one detailed review on file is strongly positive — just note that it, and the contrasting estimate complaint, both date to 2020, so it's worth asking how they run estimate visits today.
