Mark Tritto runs a small East Boston/Winthrop carpentry and general-contracting outfit — BuildZoom's permit trail, filed under Tritto Enterprises, shows 26 permits since 2013, most of them modest repair and carpentry jobs: a rotted porch beam and post, rebuilt stairs, deck boards, framed closets. Its Houzz and Angi profiles list a much broader menu — kitchen and bath remodeling, additions, ADUs, basement work — and describe the business as family owned. BuildZoom lists an active Massachusetts home improvement contractor license (#173018) and construction supervisor license (#CS-106402) that it says it verified. Only one written review is on file, posted on BuildZoom in 2025: a homeowner who'd hired the company for a kitchen two years earlier praised reasonable pricing, steady communication and a professional, caring crew. The permit record around that period is mostly smaller-scope work — a rotted sill replaced on a rear addition in Revere (2023), porch railings and stairs rebuilt in Brookline (2024), and two closets framed with new wiring and blueboard in Revere (2025). Neither its Houzz nor its Angi profile carries a review of its own. Angi's own page contradicts itself on how long the company has been around — a "33 years of experience" highlight sits next to an "over 15 years" line elsewhere on the same profile. BuildZoom's permit history only goes back to 2013, which lines up closer to the shorter figure. A reasonable call for porch, deck, framing and smaller remodel work, which is what its permit history actually documents; worth asking directly about hands-on experience with the bigger Houzz-listed jobs like additions or ADUs before committing to one.
