“Trombly Plumbing & Heating Draws From Successful Past To Shape The Future Of Local Trade”
Moved into a house a week ago and had an issue with my boiler, a bad expansion tank. We called on Friday before noon and asked about availability and explained what was happening. The person we were connected to took my wife's information at said they would send it to a service tech and that tech would call and schedule the visit. We didn't hear back at all that day. I called Saturday and asked for any update, they let us know it's outside of business hours but they would note our account and be sure that we get a call Monday. Monday I called again and they assured me a tech would call before end of day, that call didn't come. It's now Thursday and we still haven't been contacted. Thankfully I was able to get someone else out and got our boiler fixed. Can't speak to the actual service, just the headache of trying to get something scheduled.
Working with Trombly has been great. From inspection items to creating working systems and even last minute service calls, I trust them and have been happy with their service.
Contracted them for a major job and they never showed. They did a smaller job for us - they are very high priced and do not respond to messages regarding defective work.
I highly recommend Trombly Plumbing! My water pressure started to dissipate at the begining of the week. I called multiple plumbing companies that google recommended for 2 days before I found Trombly. When I called not only did I get a person, but someone also called back to schedule Rick to come out the next day to scope out the problem. He was able to recognize the couple of things before leaving. This morning the problem got worse and I was compelled to stop in to their office. They were able to send Patrick out within an hour to get the problem fixed. Heather was very understanding and her customer service was very professional and compassionate with my panicked, distressed home owner demeanor. They have high call volumes so they get back to customers as they can on a first come basis, which is a normal standard for business. The quality of customer care and actual work is well worth the sometimes not immediate response. As most of the United States right now, the NEK has more needs than hands available and these local businesses are doing what they can with who they have. If I ever need anyone to come out again or if someone I know needs a service they provide, I WILL be recommending!
2/3/25 Called Trombly with after hours emergency (Broken Pipe due to cold weather) When Heather called back, I explained my situation about the broken pipe but was met with attitude and unprofessionalism. Heather proceeded to tell me that we weren't regular customers and they could not and would not help. I did remind Heather that we used Trombley's emergency/after hours service last year for a toilet issue and they came right out to help so I was surprised to be met with such hostility. Heather then told me to call my plumber buddy to help in a condescending tone. While I understand I did not get the answer I was hoping for, the level of professionalism with Heather is extremely low and should be looked into. Extremely disappointed on how Heather handled this situation. It reflects negatively on Trombley P&H. Word of advice, Call someone else in the area. -Paul Cornell -David Chase -Dead River Would like to hear from the owner in regards to this matter. My number is on file as I've been a customer once before. Update: Response to Heather. It all makes sense now. You're salty that you didn't get the plumbing job for our home addition. Well, that would be due to an inadequate estimate. Trombley's estimate was more than double the next guys. Im surprised you guys have any business with estimates like that.
