True Blue Plumbing and Heating is a family-owned South Shore outfit run by Steve Delaney out of Hanover — plumbing, heating, AC and drain cleaning across towns from Weymouth down to Plymouth. Google shows 4.9★ from 33 ratings, and Houzz shows a perfect 5.0★ from 7, with a Quality Installation Verification certification and three Houzz awards attached. The written record runs deep: 25 reviews from 2015 through 2026 across five sources, and the pace hasn't slowed — three more landed in just the last six months, none negative. The same office names keep showing up across the years — Katrina, Nicole, Michelle — credited for quick callbacks and clear communication alongside the technicians who do the actual work. A neighbor recommending them on Nextdoor in a January 2026 post summed it up simply: "I've used them did a great job." Specific jobs back that up. When a furnace started blowing carbon monoxide instead of heat one December, in a review from late 2024, the company got a technician there right away, stopped the leak, and had a replacement furnace installed within two days. A serious leak on a Friday night, described in a 2015 review, had a truck in the driveway within 15 minutes. More recently, a 2026 review described a technician, Emily, arriving 20 minutes early, fixing one zone in about 15 minutes, and the owner personally delivering hard-to-find refrigerant when the truck ran short on a second zone. The company has also handled full oil-to-gas heating conversions — including permits, inspections and rebate paperwork — described in reviews from 2016. Steve Delaney's Massachusetts master plumber license is verified active. A solid pick across the range from an emergency leak to a whole-house heating conversion anywhere on the South Shore.
“https://www.trueblueplumbingandheating.com/ I’ve used them did a great job.”
I recently noticed water dripping through a closet ceiling in one of my buildings. After climbing up to investigate; I found corrosion on a pipe and quickly located the leak. My first call was to the plumbing company I’d used for the past 13 years, but I learned they were downsizing and couldn’t get to my property quickly. When you have an active leak, time matters. I searched for a new plumber and came across True Blue Plumbing. Their reviews were excellent, and from my first phone call, I could tell they were different. Michelle, the receptionist, was friendly, professional, and on top of everything. Today they sent Cory to handle the repair. He arrived on time, was courteous, worked efficiently, and fixed the problem quickly. I’ve hired many plumbers over the years, and Cory was easily one of the best I’ve had at my building. I’m not easily impressed, but he absolutely earned my confidence. From start to finish, True Blue Plumbing was professional, responsive, and efficient. No wasted time, no excuses, no nonsense—just high-quality workmanship and outstanding service. After this experience, True Blue Plumbing will be my new plumbing company. If you’re looking for honest, dependable professionals who get the job done right, I highly recommend them. Everything went exactly the way you hope a service call will go. Started off with their technician Emily, who arrived 20 minutes early for the appointment - so a big win right there not having to wait all day ... super knowledgeable, she fixed the upstairs zone in about 15 minutes and then explained that the lower zone was short on refrigerant and needed R22 (which is being phased out) to recharge the system and that she didn't have it in the truck. Well, I thought that was it, but 10 minutes later there's a knock on the door - the owner Steve is on the way to personally deliver his secret stash of R22 so we can charge the system so I'm not sweating like a pig on these 90+ degree days. -- Fantastic, personable, knowledgeable, and quick. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.
Excellent work, responsive, fast, and professional. I would highly recommend!
This is one of the best companies I have ever worked with. Katrina and Nicole in the office are phenomenal customer service people. They're efficient and organized and they get back to you right away. But they're also friendly and nice. I need to have someone who will wear masks because of an immune compromised person in the house. I had an entire crew of people show up who all wore N95 masks the entire time they were here installing a heating unit. They said they hoped to be finished by 3:30 p.m. but at the latest 4:00 p.m. However, they were out of the door at 3:00 p.m. with the house probably cleaner than when they came in, it was just unbelievable. I was so impressed with everything about their service. I would highly recommend them to anyone. To
I had True Blue replace my broken central air system back in March. I had two issues with the system after the installation which would normally be extremely frustrating if it hadn't been for the TrueBlue team. Both times they sent their team out to my house VERY quickly to rectify the small issues I had. The office manager/coordinator (I believe Nicole?) is incredibly pleasant, their communication is top notch, their installation team is great, their pricing is fair, etc etc. I highly highly recommend this company.
