Ask True Measure for something awkward and they build it. A customer in July 2026 needed a reinforced wall that would hold a Tonal home gym to its mounting spec; the crew worked out the structure, did the build and matched the paint. In June 2026 another had refrigerator panels made for a GE Monogram and matched to existing kitchen cabinets, after struggling to find anyone willing to work to the specification. In May 2026 a homeowner with a century-old house where nothing is level had kitchen trim installed by Robson and his associate Nando, quickly and cleanly. True Measure Construction works out of Westborough and describes itself as a family business founded by Robson Filho and his father, built on more than a decade of carpentry. Robson is the name in nearly every review, running the jobs and fielding the questions; his father Gil turns up in many of them too. The company lists remodeling, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, flooring and painting across Westborough, Framingham, Natick, Marlborough, Worcester and about ten other towns. Forty-one Google reviews since 2024 average 5.0, and they describe two kinds of work. One is finish carpentry. A May 2026 customer had custom trim, wainscoting changes and a fireplace mantel done; a January 2026 customer had built-in shelving, a mantel and a hearth rebuilt; a July 2026 customer got a built-in mudroom unit that Robson came out to measure and advise on first. In December 2025, a homeowner who needed basement stairs and a small wall rebuilt got a weekend visit for the estimate. The other is bathrooms. In March 2025 a customer had a bathroom demolished and rebuilt a week ahead of a one-month deadline. In February 2026 another described a full second-floor bathroom renovation with Robson as project manager from start to finish. An April 2026 customer said they still stop to look at theirs walking past. Two habits come up again and again: the crew cleans as it goes, with reviewers from 2025 and 2026 mentioning floors left free of nails and debris at the end of each day, and the quotes hold. A December 2024 customer ran three projects on two properties through them, siding, fascia, trim, gutters and electrical, each on schedule and reasonably priced. The one review below five stars, from June 2026, is a request rather than a complaint: use plastic sheeting to keep paint dust off household items. Ask how they protect the rooms next to the work. For careful carpentry, trim, built-ins, a door hung right, or a bathroom handled end to end by one small crew, this is a strong call. The company describes itself as a licensed remodeling and general contractor, so ask to see the registration before you sign.
“### Angela Mailly-Garcia ... "True Measure Construction completed a full renovation of my second floor bathroom. Robson was the project manager and contact person for the project. He was very personable and answered all of our questions during the construction from start to finish. He was very patient and professional throughout the process when designing the bathroom and picking materials for the finishes. He ensured the workmanship was of good quality during every phase of the project and fixed problems immediately to our satisfaction. The True Measure Team were all great during the project.”
We were very happy with Robson and his team. They arrived when they said they would and cleaned work areas each day. Beautiful work, dependable and all at a fair price.
Robson and team recently completed a built in mudroom unit and I couldn’t be happier with the final product! He took the time to come see the space, gave recommendations for what would work best based on my vision, was accommodating to feedback along the way, and was competitively priced. I’d recommend Robson and True Measure and would certainly use them again!
I hired Robson and his team to build a reinforced wall for a Tonal home gym installation. The project required meeting specific mounting and structural requirements, and they took the time to understand exactly what was needed. The workmanship was excellent, the paint match was seamless, and the finished wall looks like it was always part of the apartment. Professional, communicative, and detail-oriented from start to finish. I’d gladly recommend Robson and his team for any custom carpentry or framing project.
Very happy with the work. Responsive, high quality, reasonably priced.
Robson and his team did a great job repairing the entrance to my garage. They also cleaned their work area thoroughly after they left, leaving no nails or other debris on the floor. I highly recommend them for carpentry work!
