Trusted Handyman is a Malden, Massachusetts operation built around one name that keeps showing up in its reviews: Sam. Whether it's a broken couch, a stack of flat-pack furniture, or a wall that needs patching, homeowners call on him for the kind of job that's too small for a specialty contractor but too fiddly to tackle solo. On Thumbtack, where the company holds a 4.9-star rating across 14 ratings โ 86% of them five stars โ reviewers describe someone who moves fast and explains himself before picking up a tool. One customer needed a window blind and a toilet seat replaced; Sam made a Home Depot run for the parts, took measurements, and had it done in about three hours. Another had a full outdoor furniture set โ two chairs, a table, and a small couch โ assembled quickly and at what they called a reasonable price, with the packaging hauled off to recycling afterward. A third called him in for drywall damage before a move-out and got it patched in a pinch. Across five reviews from late 2023 through mid-2024, the same pattern holds: measure and advise before starting, then finish in one visit. The Thumbtack profile also lists 49 hires and about seven years in business, plus a wider menu than the reviews alone show โ interior painting, picture hanging, trim and molding work, TV mounting, window repair, and dishwasher installation, alongside 13 completed projects on the page. For the drywall patch, the flat-pack furniture, or the pile of small fixes that's been sitting on the to-do list, this is a handyman built for quick, single-visit jobs โ worth a call before you tackle the next one yourself.

Came through and got everything up so quickly. Really appreciate this work he did a great job!
Sam was great! Helped me fix drywall damage in a pinch before my move out
Sam has to replace a window blind and a toilet seat. This required that he make a trip to Home Depot, as I didn't have either item. He arrived on the dot, made his measurements, did the Home Depot trip, and then quietly set to work. Total time for all of it was 3 hours. He did a perfect job. I'm very pleased.
Sam was an excellent worker who was polite and professional and was able to fix my couch in a little over an hour! He also spoke with me before to advise what parts to purchase for the repair. I highly recommend him and will contact him again if I need help with future repairs!
Hire him! Absolutely great- put together a full outdoor furniture set 2 chairs, a table, and a small couch quickly and efficiently. He also helped breakdown all boxes and put in recycling. Strongly recommend! Made this extremely easy and reasonably priced.
