Two Men and a Truck of Manchester is a franchise location — the company's first in New Hampshire — and its Google page, the only location-specific source here, tells a genuinely mixed story: 4.6 stars from 212 ratings, with named crews (Jacob, Trey and Dwayne, Andy, Gavin Call and Alex Olive, Ike, Mike and Sanjee) repeatedly praised for careful, efficient, well-organized moves across 2023 through 2026. A meaningful number of Google reviews describe a different experience, and a real pattern runs through them: what happens after something goes wrong. A 2023 review described a $300 coin jar disappearing during a move with no resolution; a 2024 review described being charged twice with weeks of unanswered follow-up; a 2025 review described a dropped, broken 70-inch TV and a claim that went nowhere after the promised callback never came; a 2026 review described a broken mechanism on an expensive infant's crib and nearly a month of silence from management. A separate 2026 review described a crew of two showing up when three were promised, in an undersized rental truck, turning a job into an eight-hour ordeal. The company's Better Business Bureau page carries a C grade with three complaints on file. Worth noting clearly: Two Men and a Truck is a large national franchise, and a number of the web mentions collected here are about completely different franchise locations in other cities — Dayton, Peoria, Lansing, Milwaukee — not this Manchester, New Hampshire branch. One Reddit commenter said as much directly: their experience depends on the franchise, good at some locations, a nightmare at others. Those out-of-market accounts don't describe the crew a Manchester-area homeowner would actually get, and are set aside here; the Google reviews above, tied to this specific location, are the reliable signal. For a straightforward local or long-distance move, the crew-level reviews here describe careful, hardworking teams. Where the record gets shakier is what happens if something breaks or the bill comes out wrong — several customers describe a slow, unresponsive claims and billing process. Get the crew size, truck size, and damage-claim procedure in writing before moving day, and keep a record of any issue in case follow-up is slow.
“I think it depends on the franchise, because I had a wonderful experience with two locations then an absolute nightmare with other locations.”
“I did look up a few places on Google (Two Men and a Truck, Moving Mountains, but wanted to see if anyone has any recommendations too.”
“they've gone above and beyond each time I've used them”

“they are terrible.”
Cancelled my move at 8 am the day of. Unprofessional and unreliable.
The persons that moved my furniture were very friendly and respectful of my home. They moved my furniture with much care. I am very grateful I choose your company and would chose you again. I hired your company twice and was very satisfied both times. Thank you much for making my move stress free
Jacob and crew were fantastic. Professional and respectful.
Horrible experience. Only 2 workers when 3 were promised. Truck was a uhaul rental that was too small. Took 2 guys 8 hrs to unload a 16 foot pod and drive it 1 hr away and unload. My couches were unloaded in my garage because they said they wouldn't fin through the door. When I got home my neighbor and I easily moved them into the house.
Trey and Dwayne were awesome and we are so glad they helped us move! They did a great job, communicated well and made our move so much easier. Thank you both and two men and a truck!
