It holds a 4.9-star Thumbtack rating from 16 ratings. A 2020 review describes Richard from Universal coming out after a few days to inspect a house the writers were selling, after the buyer's home inspector said he thought he found mold. He did not find any mold and wrote a note for the buyer's broker to use at the closing. In a 2023 review, a writer who gave their age as 82 said he did not believe it was time to do the work because the mold was so minimal, and that he warned them about others who would charge a fortune.
