Chris and team with Urban Yardology did an amazing job working with us to rethink our front entry hardscaping and landscaping. He spent time asking lots of clarifying questions to truly understand what we were truly wanting. He then walked us through options —— and the piece I loved is that he also presented options that saved money but still met the polish and high standards we wanted for the project. He was a fantastic thought partner, is responsive along the entire way, keeps to a budget, is creative in how he approaches problems that develop, and just a good guy that you can trust to take care of your project. I would HIGHLY recommend this firm for any hardscaping projects
I've hired Chris twice, separated by years, to do complete revamps of front yards and each time I have been greatly pleased with the end result. He is a clear communicator, cares about his product, responsive to any issues that come up, and I have seen his work stand the test of time.
We highly recommend the landscape firm of Urban Yardology! They transformed our small front yard into a beautiful, peaceful oasis. Great ideas and communication made it easy to work with them. The price was below what we expected and the final reveal was spectacular! We cannot wait to work again with Urban Yardology with our backyard!!
Chris and Steve transformed my backyard into the patio of my dreams! And in the process, Urban Yardology became one of my favorite companies I've ever worked with. From the beginning, Chris was communicative, honest, and deeply engaged in the project. He has an artist's vision but always presented me with options, explained budgetary impacts, and gave me the chance to weigh in on design decisions. When onsite, Chris and Steve were professional, warm, and respectful. They always left the job site as clean as possible and kept up an impressive pace despite the rainiest summer on record. It's obvious that they both care deeply about the work that they do and take a lot of pride in it. Even after project completion, Chris was helpful and generous with his time, offering advice on what to plant, maintenance, etc. I truly can't imagine a more beautiful final product or a better company to do business with. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.
Had a very large project completed by this company. Chris is a great salesman. $20k and the design plans were changed a few different times without consulting me. One of which caused a drainage issue and hence part of the walkway sinking. Was told for 7 months that he would repair it and he strung me along for quite some time reassuring me he hadn’t forgotten about me. Heard every excuse from the Excuse factory as to why he couldn’t repair it and now it is simply not going to be repaired because he believes in his own personal opinion that someone drove over it. Meanwhile, there’s a flood of water flowing from underneath the walkway. A) don’t go with this company B) if you do, be sure to get every single plan discussed in writing and be sure that is the design that is actually carried out. The 2 stars is for Steve- he was personable and a hard worker. Wish it was him who I dealt with from start to finish.
