Lori (a new plumber recommended to me) came as scheduled to check on problem with my mixing valve & brought with her a part that could offer a fix. Before she took it apart she suggested I try mixing valve in guest bathroom to see if that showed same problem. It did. She then said problem was not with mixing valve & went to cellar to check out hot water tank. She found the valve to my tankless water heater that had been was on. She turned it off & said wait a few days to see if that fixes the problem & that she would return if it did not. She refused payment saying there wasn't any work for her to do. It did fix the problem. I put her on my vendor list & won't hesitate to recommend her to family & friends. Jean Ricci

I called Lori of veteran plumbing & heating. Advised her of a leaking fitting on my baseboard forced hot water system. She came in disabled my heating system and cut the fitting off. Came back in after 20 minutes in her truck telling me that she didn’t have the fitting. She went to a few plumbing supplies to find the fitting and told me she was unable to find it. So she proceeded to tell me that she would look for the fitting and call me when she finds one, it has been months since I heard from her, so I finally called her to see what was going on. She failed to answer my calls or return my call it is now coming to the heating season in my system is disabled. If she had any brains, she would never have cut the fitting off unless she knew she had one to replace it. I do not recommend this plumber.left me hanging!!! I have been waiting for a response from Lori , but none. She screwed up big time. I guess she can’t respond to being incompetent.

Had a pipe burst in my wall, Laurie Bence came out the same day, and she is the best plumber I've ever met. Between jobs and owning 200+ year old house, I've worked with a lot of contractors and none of them have done such a quick job or cleaned up better. If you're reading this, thank you.

Love Laurie! Devon returned our call promptly and Laurie & Austin came over to our property to check out heating system. We talked about what we needed and she was able to write me exactly the kind of quote I needed (i.e. Do this step first for $xx and then the next step is $xx, etc). We made an appointment for the repair just a few days out. They were prompt, professional, easy to talk with, and understanding. Our 50 year old gas furnace was on thr fritz. Scheduled an appointment with another company. When they came over to look at it, they told me at first glance that it needed to be replaced. Luckily I found Veteran Plumbing and Heating. Laurie and Austin showed up, diagnosed our furnace and in no time we had heat. Professional, courteous and fair. I could not ask for a better experience. From now on my first call will be to Veteran for all my plumping and heating needs. Thanks again.
