- Active HIC registration — Massachusetts registry names Vigilant Services, Inc. as holder
Vigilant Services focuses on looking after Cape Cod homes while their owners are away. The Brewster company describes home watch, storm checks and property care for homeowners, especially those with second homes who live off-Cape. It says its own team and specialty partners coordinate home maintenance and general remodeling and construction. The company says it began in 1988 to help second-home owners manage problems remotely. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, with Vigilant Services, Inc. named as the registry holder. Google lists a five-star average from two ratings. In a February 2020 written review, someone who knew the two men who owned and operated Vigilant strongly recommended the company on that basis.
