That is the shape of Tom Hague III Builder, Inc., a Brewster remodeler whose Massachusetts home improvement registration is active under the corporate name TOM HAGUE, III BUILDER, INC.
The BBB records the corporation as started on November 14, 1983 and incorporated in 1986, 42 years in business with three employees and Thomas F. Hague III as president. It carries an A+ grade without ever having sought accreditation, and lists no complaints and no government actions. The company itself puts the run a little longer — family owned and operated, over 45 years on the mid and lower Cape — and works from 48 Birch Lane in Brewster with a second Orleans address, covering Brewster, Chatham, Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro, Provincetown, Harwich, Yarmouth and Dennis.
Remodeling is the through-line: renovations, kitchens and baths, additions and second floors, decks and porches, siding, windows and doors, with new home construction on the side. Its Houzz page shows four project galleries — traditional exteriors in Orleans, bathroom remodels in Harwich, a kitchen remodel and second stories in Chatham — alongside an awards block naming NARI Certified Remodeler, two Remodeler of the Year awards from the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Cape Cod, and an NAHB Certified Aging in Place designation. The company's own site adds that This Old House Magazine featured it in April 2015. All of that comes from the business's own listings rather than from anything independently confirmed here.
The honest gap is the homeowner voice. Both the BBB profile and the Houzz page show no reviews at all, so nobody who hired them has left a public account of how it went. The one outside sighting is a November 2015 Cape Cod Times photograph of Tom Hague at the Cape Cod Home Builders & Remodelers Association's 65th anniversary at the Cape Codder Resort — which places him among his peers, but a caption is not a report on a job.
A reasonable call for a Cape addition, second story, or a bath or kitchen renovation, especially if aging-in-place design matters to you. Because there is nothing published to read, ask for a list of recent local references and call them, and ask the company to show you the NARI certification and the association awards it advertises.
