Viking Property Management

Viking Property Management is a small, Winthrop-based handyman operation — two employees, six years in business — with a completed Thumbtack background check for owner Victor Marques. Its Thumbtack rating sits at 4.0 from three ratings: two five-star jobs and one two-star. The two-star review describes an angle-valve shutoff repair that went sideways — one valve got fixed, but the tech reportedly broke the shutoff on the hot side while stripping its teeth, then the customer says they were left on read after reaching back out for help finishing the job. The five-star reviews, from the same September 2024 stretch, describe the crew as fast, fair on price and professional, with one customer saying they'd recommend them to friends. With the record this small, that one botched valve job carries real weight — worth asking how they'd handle a callback if something similar comes up.
