In a 2020 post on hempstone.net, the writer said that after being introduced to Hempcrete by HempStone, Shelby altered the company tagline to Ecologically Resilient Homes and featured HempCrete Construction on the company's vehicles. A 2021 listing on buildingscience.org names Shelby Howland, Village Carpentry and Landscaping, as Design/Builder of a 1500 sf new construction project, with Hempstone LLC supplying hempcrete-lime plaster. Its MA home improvement contractor licence 191955, with Shelby Howland as holder of record, is expired on the state registry.
