Walsh Plumbing & Heating is a Franklin residential business built around one name, Tom, who shows up himself for the plumbing and heating problems homeowners can't wait on — a dead boiler, a leak, a clogged drain. Its own site describes work ranging from faucet installation to full water line replacement, with free consultations offered up front. What keeps surfacing across a written record running from 2021 through late 2024 is speed and fair pricing. In a 2024 review, a homeowner remodeling a kitchen said Tom quoted a fraction of what other companies wanted after actually taking the time to look at the job first. In a 2022 review, a customer described paying over $600 to Roto Rooter for a jammed garbage disposal with no result, then having Tom fix it in minutes. Emergency calls come up again and again too — a boiler thermal-coupler swap that restored heat the same day during a cold snap (2024), a leaking pipe fixed within 30 minutes on a Saturday (2021), and a tub leak diagnosed and repaired within about 90 minutes the day before a holiday weekend (2023). Google shows a 4.7-star average from 13 ratings. The record isn't spotless: in a 2022 review, a customer said Walsh promised twice to come replace a broken heating pipe and never showed, leaving them without a working furnace as the weather turned cold — a sharp contrast to the same-day responsiveness described elsewhere. Walsh looks like the call for a plumbing or heating problem that needs someone in the house fast, and reviewers describe fair, honest quoting on bigger jobs too. Given the one no-show account, it's worth confirming a firm arrival window before counting on same-day service for anything that isn't an emergency.
Tom did the plumbing for my DIY kitchen remodel. He took the time to understand the job before he quoted whereas other companies barely looked at it and quoted 3-4 times the amount. I highly recommend T Walsh for your plumbing requirements.
Tom came out to my home in Seekonk, MA right away when my gas boilers thermal coupler died and I had no heat when it was going to be below 20 at night and I have small kids. Replaced the broken thermal coupler, showed me the old burnt up one. Boiler fired right up and runs great now! Super friendly, great work and a fair price. Good work isn't cheap and cheap work isn't generally good. But Tom was very reasonable and I would absolutely call him back for more work when I need it!
I purchased a new stove Tom had to do extra work putting it in my kitchen. He was knowledgeable, polite, reassuring, on-time, and, very fair pricing. Highly recommend T Walsh Plumbing
Highly recommended!!! Had an issue with my tub leaking into the 1/2 bath below it. Called around, the day before 4th of July, and was referred to Tom and he stated he could be here within 2 hours and was here just over an hour. Saw the issue, got on top of it and had it fixed within an hour and a half. Very impressed with the sense of urgency and professionalism they portrayed. Will be calling them if I ever need more work done In The future.
My first ever plumbing issue, and T Walsh Plumbing and Heating came to the rescue! Tom CALLED ME BACK (same day mind you), arrived on time, and he and his assistant were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly!! Totally recommend these two LOCAL guys to save the day for your plumbing catastrophes!
