Verified record
Waltham Pest Services has two very different stories in its written record, separated by years. Between 2018 and 2019, reviewers consistently praised named technicians — Blake and Brad Carter among them — for fast response and effective rodent and pest work. In a 2018 review, a homeowner described a mice infestation resolved with bait stations and sealed entry points, with no mice seen within two days. In a 2019 review, a customer described being contacted within 20 minutes of an evening email about a possible bee swarm, and another 2019 review described a rat problem addressed within 24 to 48 hours of the initial call. That written history is now years old, and the record goes largely quiet after 2019 — one more review from 2022, then nothing until this year. The most recent account is serious and worth reading closely. In an August 2026 review, a customer said they hired the company to remove rodents but ended up with more rodents than before treatment, and separately alleged the company charged their credit card without permission. That's the only review from the past six months, and it stands in sharp contrast to the older praise. HomeAdvisor and Angi both show a 4.8-star average from 20 ratings, and both directories also list a self-reported '133 years of experience' for the business — a figure that doesn't hold up to scrutiny and is worth asking about directly, since a company operating since roughly the 1890s would be extraordinary for pest control in this area. Given how dated the positive reviews are and how serious the one recent complaint is, this isn't a business to hire on reputation alone right now — ask directly about current billing practices and get a specific plan and guarantee for rodent removal before agreeing to anything.

Terrible we hired them to remove rodents, there websites claims that they will GET RID of rodents, however we ended up having more rodents then when they started. BEWARE they take your credit card and charge without your permision After coming out the burrows will remain

Brad Carter is very professional and personable.
They came and analyzed the situation, returned and set up traps, etc. They both were very profession. established a great rapport, educated us about preventing rodent and did a great job. They kicked rodent butt out of the house, never to return.
