Wash Safe Cape Cod Home Services

"Many people told me you are going to need a new roof," a homeowner wrote in June 2023; once the dirt and stains were cleaned off, the shingles looked brand new. Roof cleaning is the job most people hired this Harwich exterior-cleaning outfit for: most of its written Google reviews, dated 2022 through 2025, describe a roof cleaning, and several say the roof looked new afterward. It holds 4.9 stars across 41 Google ratings. The business describes itself as Wash Safe, a brand of JR Chemical Coatings LLC that makes bleach-free exterior-cleaning concentrates and runs its own Cape Cod Home Services division for roof, cedar, house, deck, patio, driveway, rust and solar-panel cleaning. The site says it has worked on Cape Cod since 2007, is family-owned, and names John Redihan as president and founder. Its Google reviews are addressed to Street Appeal Pros rather than Wash Safe. One name keeps turning up: Nick is named in seven reviews between May 2022 and October 2025. In April 2023, a West Dennis customer said Nick phoned about a shingle problem on the roof and put in a temporary fix until the customer could get there the next day. A March 2025 customer said the company cleaned a cedar shake roof and also repaired missing shingles. Decks come up as well: a mahogany deck cleaned and sealed in July 2023, and in May 2024 a waterfront customer described Chris spending the full day on a large deck system, then walking the property with them to check the work. In October 2025, a homeowner listed shingles, roof, two sheds, deck and fence, done within a short timeframe for what they called a great price. The office drew two complaints in March 2022, both about a staff member named Jenna: one caller said she couldn't give basic information, so the caller hung up and called back to reach someone else; another called her a bit obnoxious and said customer service needed work. Both praised the finished job. An April 2023 reviewer, by contrast, called Jenna courteous and professional. The Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration held by Wash Safe Industries, Inc. is expired.
