WD Home Improvement

WD Home Improvement's website says it specializes in roofing, siding and storm damage restoration, and it lists a service area of 15 towns that includes Stamford, Norwalk, Greenwich, Westport and Darien. Much of the work starts with an inspection by Danny. A recent customer said he checked the roof before winter, explained what needed attention and gave advice on preventing problems before the cold weather. A customer who thought an old roof needed replacing said Danny found no major damage, just normal aging, and gave tips on getting more life out of it. One customer said Danny laid out retail and insurance options; the claim took some time, but he stayed on top of it until it was approved. On replacements, a customer said they pulled the proper permit and replaced damaged roof decking. A roof inspection for one customer turned up significant wear and tear, and that customer went ahead with a full replacement in Owens Corning asphalt shingles. In North Stamford, a customer whose insurance required a new roof said the crew worked efficiently and kept everything clean. A customer who rated the company four stars said they showed up on time, completed the work as per contract and did a good job on cleanup. One recent customer said a few weather delays came up on a roof job and were communicated, and called the price "not the lower price but certainly in range." The work goes beyond roofs. A 2026 customer said Danny came right away when ice dams let water into the home, and his team was there the next day to remove snow from the entire roof and defrost gutters. A 2025 customer said Danny guided them through a full vinyl siding replacement. A 2025 customer said the company did a complete transformation of a master bathroom, handling tile work, plumbing and custom carpentry, and stuck to the proposed timeline. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0701843, as active, held by WD HOME IMPROVEMENT LLC.
