A customer who gathered quotes from five companies said the contract carried a thorough scope of work; it took a while to get on the schedule, and a large crew then did the work quickly. A 2025 customer with a 45-year-old driveway in Columbia said Bruce came by the same day, and within two weeks he and his crew removed the old blacktop, dug out a problem corner, prepared the area with gravel and paved. A 2024 customer said Bruce recommended a curtain drain to stop water washing out a stone driveway, hit ledge while excavating it, and agreed to an additional charge for the extra hours spent chipping it down. A recent customer said something like a pimple appeared in the pavement within a few months of a job they were told was warrantied for a year, and that after three calls over the year no one came out; that customer also said the company offered 500 off sealing for a 5-star review. A recent customer whose driveway was done a year earlier said they have puddles everywhere, the paving missed the driveway drain by about a foot, the bill came in 2k over the quote, and a promised fix never happened. BBB grades the company an A and shows two complaints.
Webster and Son Paving did an excellent job on our difficult driveway. Bruce and his team paid extra attention to the area where we were getting puddles and mud with every rainstorm. They fixed the problem - we were very pleased with the outcome, and with the professionalism and care during the whole process. Would definitely recommend them to family and friends, phenomenal work!
Update: Now you say you havent recieved a call. As I stated my wife called 3 times and was told the same thing each time... we will come out this week and then crickets. If this owner wanted to attempt to save face he should be calling us at this point. Communication is not their strong suit. We had our driveway paved almost a year ago. When we scheduled the job, they told us we may need some fill around the driveway when it was done and they would try to keep it minimum. Turns out they must have meant they keep the areas that dont need fill to minimum so they can get 5k more to fill it when they're done. They said the work was warrantied for a year, within a few months we noticed something like a pimple in the pavement and we called right away. They said they would be out next week but they never showed up. We have called 3 times over the course of a year and gotten the same answer but never see or hear from them. I waited to write this review to see how this all turned out. One last thing worth noting is they offered 500 off sealing for a 5 star review.
I highly recommend Webster and Son paving. Bruce and his team were great! Came and gave me a great quote and were able to completely redo my 36 year old driveway all within a couple weeks. My driveway looks amazing. Thanks again Webster and son paving!
