A porch-railing customer says Weld Right returned when bolts began to rust, about three years after the original installation. In an April 2026 Google review, the customer described a custom wrought iron railing and said the company came out quickly to replace the bolts and repaint. Weld Right Iron Work is based in Weymouth. Its website describes custom ironwork for residential and commercial properties around Boston, including fences and gates, railings and stairs, balconies, iron decks and security grilles. The company says it has worked in custom ironwork since 1975 and offers free estimates. It names Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Chelsea, Medford, Newton, Quincy, Revere, Somerville and Weymouth as its service area. Google shows a five-star average from 53 ratings. In a June 2025 review, a customer who needed railings for new stairs said Johne arrived promptly to measure. The customer described measuring, designing and completing installation within two weeks. Fabricio and Jose arrived on time for the installation, and the customer praised their coordinated work. The same reviewer said phone calls and emails with Juliana received prompt responses. Another June 2025 customer said Johne arrived on time and installed one railing in back and two in front, exactly as ordered. A November 2025 reviewer credited Johne and the team with a railing around a basement walkout and praised their communication. Older customers described work on existing iron as well. In December 2024, a reviewer writing on behalf of condo trustees praised advice on ironwork restoration, the price, accurate cost and time estimates, communication from one partner and careful work by the field crew. An October 2024 customer said two new railings replaced rotted wooden ones, with a design suited to a 300-year-old house. The workers removed old concrete, and the customer said the price stayed within the estimate despite the extra work. A July 2024 reviewer described adapting a fire escape to shutters and said the installation was careful, on time and on budget. In January 2022, another customer said Weld Right completed an interior railing project that others had declined as too complicated, at a fair price. BBB gives the company an A+ grade and lists it as non-accredited. Its business-age listing differs from the company's: BBB lists 42 years, while Weld Right claims 51.
