Wheeler Oil Co handles heating oil delivery and furnace work. A 2025 customer said a power surge left their furnace unable to start, and Nate fixed it by replacing a small transformer on the board rather than the whole control board; that customer said the furnace was running a few hours after they called. A 2020 customer on auto delivery said the company serviced their furnace before the start of the season. That 2020 customer said a power surge blew out a controller on the furnace, they called Mark Wheeler at 8 am on a Saturday while the office was closed, and the furnace was up and running before noon that day. A 2025 customer said the company delivered oil in a timely manner and completed an oil tank inspection without them on site, using a lock box code they gave. A 2026 customer said deliveries were quick and reliable during the winter months, and that after their mother passed away the company made sure the house always had oil while they were living out of town. A 2024 customer said Mark arrived to check out the tanks, then called to say he was not taking the job because he did not like the driveway, and hung up without giving an explanation.

Mark, Tommy, Anne—and everyone at Wheeler Oil—are truly exceptional. They are consistently helpful, knowledgeable, easy to get ahold of and compassionate. Deliveries are quick and reliable, even during the winter months when they go the extra mile—trudging through snow to make sure everyone stays warm. After my mom passed away, they made sure the house always had oil and everything was running properly while I was living out of town, which meant more than I can express. One of the many perks of growing up and living in a small town. Thank you all for everything you do for your customers! (Even the annoying ones like me 😜)
This company was easy to get a hold of and delivered my oil in a timely manner. They also completed the inspection of the oil tank without forcing me to be on site, I gave them the lock box code and they took care of the rest.
Our power lines came down and caused a power serge. Many electrical devises were destroyed. Furnace would not start. We expected that the furnace would require a new control board - but Nate was able to fix it by just replacing a small transformer on the board. Saved us a lot of money. Furnace was running just a few hours after we called. Incredible support. Customer for over 30 years
The secretary was very nice and helpful. When the guy Mark came to check out the tanks - he arrived, called me and told me he wasn't taking the job because he didn't like our driveway. Hung up briskly without giving any explanation. We just moved in, looking at fixing the driveway anyways. Would like to know what exactly the issue was. The previous owner had a local supplier.
I've dealt with these folks for nearly 25 years. I'm on auto delivery and I have never had to call them for a delivery of oil. They service my furnace before the start of the season and I have never had a problem, well not until February 7,2020. We had a tree come down and cause a power surge that blew out a controller on the furnace. I called Mark Wheeler at 8 am Saturday morning (they were closed) and he told me he wasn't able to get here today but he would have someone out here today. Long story short, my furnace was up and running before noon that day. Thank you Wheeler Oil.
