A local news site has pictured David Stetson selecting a board at White Chapel Joinery in Edgecomb, in a high-ceilinged space where he can stand 16-foot-long boards on end. The same news site has called David Stetson a woodworker. A 2024 Google customer said Dave was easy going to work with and praised his millwork. A 2024 customer who gave one star wrote that the quality of work was not in question, but said the company did not meet its own projected completion dates and charged hourly for labor instead of quoting per item. That 2024 customer said that after ending the relationship, the company refused to provide shelves for two millwork pieces, though the shelves were on the drawings and the company had been paid in full.

Dave has been a great person to work with. His millwork is top notch and honestly will stand the test of time. He was easy going and a joy to work with.
White Chapel Joinery performs in a small project arena with no price transparency offered to the client. Their quality of work is not in question; however, it seems that they cannot handle a project with multiple components to it in a timely manner. They do not meet their own projected completion dates and will not offer a quote per item. Rather they operate on an hourly charge for labor with no accounting for who is doing what and what items the hours are assigned to and how many hours it will take to complete the item. Upon severing our relationship with White Chapel Joinery they refused to provide shelves for 2 millwork pieces even though the shelves were specified on the drawings and they had been paid in full for their work.
