Two guys, one truck, 218 jobs booked. White Glove Moving Service is an owner-operated Watertown outfit run by Aleksei Kubachin, and the thing customers keep writing about is not speed or price but care — furniture that arrived without a mark on it, walls that never got bumped, nothing broken. The work spans a wider range than a two-person crew suggests: local moves under 50 miles, long-distance hauls, office relocations, single-item furniture delivery, packing, storage and furniture assembly. Thumbtack prices it at $120 an hour with a two-hour minimum and lists the business at four years old, though the same page's summary line says three. Every written account on file is from this year, and they are unusually consistent. A repeat customer described a second move in May 2026 where the crew emptied a ten-by-ten storage unit into her car and one truck rather than the several trips she expected, then went back to clear the unit completely so the storage company could not charge her another day. Another May 2026 customer had a two-bedroom packed, assembled and moved 50-100 miles. In June a homeowner moving large furniture into a new house singled out how nothing touched the walls. Aleksei himself is named in most of them, and a second mover, Alex, in one — this is a business where the owner is on the job. Two things to weigh before you book. The whole picture comes from a single platform: Thumbtack shows 4.9 across 123 ratings and current Top Pro status, but there is no second site, no chamber listing and no independent record to cross-check it against, and only five of those 123 reviews have retrievable text. The star bar also shows a 1% one-star slice whose comment is not readable, so one customer's complaint exists without being visible. And this is a two-employee operation — fine for the apartment and single-item work most of the reviews describe, worth a direct conversation if you are moving a full house on a deadline. Massachusetts household movers are licensed by the Department of Public Utilities rather than registered as home improvement contractors, and no licence number appears anywhere on the listing; the only credential shown is a Thumbtack background check on Aleksei Kubachin from March 2025. Ask for the DPU number and a certificate of insurance when you call, and if your move is large, ask how many movers will actually show up.

White glove moving service was great! They were able to move us out of our apartment into our new home with ease. They were very reasonable and careful with all of our belongings. They were very responsive with any questions I had up until the move. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for movers. I had an amazing experience with White Glove from start to finish. The movers was professional and incredibly careful with all of my belongings. They handled everything with care, worked quickly, and made what is usually a stressful process feel seamless. The movers were also friendly, respectful, and had such a positive attitude throughout the entire move. Everything arrived safely and in perfect condition. My belongings were moved over 1110 miles and I still received the items the next day! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'm very happy that I chose them for my move. We had a lot of large furniture to move into our new house, and they responded to my inquiry very quickly and let us know their availability right away. The entire moving process was smooth from start to finish. They worked efficiently, professionally, and handled everything with great care. This was the second time that I used Aleksei for my move because he and his team had done such a good job the first time. Aleksei is very reliable and careful. He is also great at figuring out how to pack things to make sure to get all your stuff moved in as few trips as possible, saving you time. He was able to help me clear out of my storage unit when I didn't think we could. I have a ten by ten unit (see photos) and somehow he was able to fit everything into my car that I thought would require a few trips (with the exception of furniture that went in his truck). I was on the road and he and his team went back to ensure the unit was fully vacant by the end of the day, so I wouldn't be charged anything additional by the storage people. I would certainly choose to work with Aleksei and his team again after two good moves and nothing broken and fewer trips than I would expect! I didn't think he could fit my tempurpedic into the back of my car but he did, along with ALL of my other stuff! Simply amazing! Thank you Aleksei!!
