Additions, decks, cabinets, and interior and exterior remodeling: that is the work Whittaker General Contracting puts forward on its Porch profile, from an address on New Boston Street in Woburn. In a 2015 Google review, a homeowner described asking Mike for a quote on a master bedroom renovation and found him polite, knowledgeable, quick with the number, and full of ideas for the room. He went with someone else for that job, but wrote that he would ask Whittaker to bid on the next one. Worth a call if you are pricing an addition, a deck, or a room you want reworked. Ask to walk a finished project of similar size, and confirm the registration and insurance before you sign anything.
I received a quote from Mike for a master bedroom renovation. He was polite, knowledgeable, timely on the quote and had some great ideas for the room. In the end, I didn't end up going with him for the project, but I'll definitely ask him for bids on future projects.
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Whittaker General Contracting LLC. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
