Wingman Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc. describes itself as the call for residential plumbing, heating, air conditioning / HVAC needs, listing hot water tank replacements, burst pipes, faucets, toilets, valve repair, water filtration and clogged drains. Its website names a service area of North Attleboro, Attleboro, Norton, Mansfield, Foxboro, Easton, Plainville and nearby towns. It holds MA plumber license 3941-PL-C, active on the state registry. Al and his team installed a new water heater, and the work was scheduled and completed quickly for a fair price. Wingman quickly fixed a faucet problem that two previous plumbers were unable to resolve. Al and his sons are described as reliable, upfront about costs and timely, with Al explaining everything and providing updates while the work is being done. Scheduling is easy because they are very responsive, and they send confirmation and follow up emails and texts. On another visit, Al and his son John showed up on time and did a great job. In a 2026 review, Wingman came the same day for a kitchen sink that wasn't draining and worked it through in about an hour. In 2026, Al removed and replaced a severely corroded, broken shower handle and took care of an expansion tank that needed immediate replacement on the same visit. In 2025, Al came out the next day and replaced old outdoor water faucets with better quality faucets, new shut off valves and some additional indoor piping. For a leak at an oil burner expansion tank in 2025, help arrived about 15 minutes later. In 2024, Wingman took out a propane water heater and installed an electric one, which required changing out some pipes, and left the place spotless. Wingman has been the go-to for well over a decade at a very old New England fieldstone foundation house heated by old fashioned steam radiators, according to a 2025 review that says "a lot of plumbers won't even deal with these types of systems anymore. Wingman will." One customer calls the pricing very expensive: quoted $3500 for a PRV and expansion tank, they went with another plumber for $1200, and quoted $850 to replace a spigot, they went with another plumber for $200.
GREAT service and extraordinarily great communication in describing even minute details of what was needed. Al is superb.
I’ve used Wingman Plumbing now 3 or 4 times since moving into my house 6 years ago. Al and his sons are always incredibly reliable, upfront about costs, and complete the work in a timely manner. Al is great about explaining everything and providing updates while the work is being done. Highly recommend!
Wingman handled the issue. Everything is fine now. Made some good recommendations for future service here. I highly recommend my plumber, Wingman Plumbing.
Wingman was able to quickly fix a problem with our faucet that two previous plumbers were unable to resolve.
Very expensive - ended up getting a few quotes for the same services and they all came in at 1/3 the price or less. Kind of regret going with AL for the fix he did, I feel ripped off after getting additional quotes. Mostly doing this review as a warning to others to get additional quotes if you feel the quotes are too high. Quoted $3500 for a PRV and Expansion tank. Went with another plumber for $1200. Quoted $850 to replace spigot and leak under spigot. Went with another plumber for $200. Quoted $750 to add brackets to dishwasher, will end up doing myself.
