Wire Guys Electric takes residential and commercial electrical work, and its website lists Oakland, Waterville, Winslow, Belgrade, Sidney, Fairfield and other nearby Kennebec County towns as its service area. The company says it has been in business 23 years and offers free estimates. Maine electrician license MS60017879, held by Todd A. Noel, is active on the state registry. In a 2022 review, a homeowner described Todd explaining the house's existing electrical and the changes needed to run 220-volt wiring to a hot tub in the back yard. That 2022 customer said that after a few days of weather delay, Todd called about a two-hour break in the rain and finished the project in a light drizzle. A 2022 customer wrote that a hot tub from a neighbour needed disconnecting and then connecting at their house, and said Todd did everything he could to save them money along the way. In a 2022 review, a customer said they were fit right in and had two ceiling lamps and two sconces installed in under an hour. A 2023 customer called him very responsive and honest about the costs, and said they were not charged for anything that wasn't necessary. A 2025 customer described him as friendly and said they were well satisfied.
He was friendly n done a great job, knows what he's doing , well satisfied. If you need electrical to be done give him a call.
Very responsive, was honest about the costs of various needs we had, and didn’t let me pay for something that wasn’t necessary. Have given his name out to a few locals-will call again when needed.
From my initial phone call with Todd he was absolutely fantastic. I had many many questions which he took time to answer even though I still hadn't decided exactly what I was going to do. As soon as I got chatting to him I knew he would be the guy to help out. We got a hot tub from a neighbour which needed disconnecting and then when we got it to our house it needed connecting up. He was happy to give his honest opinion and did everything he could to save us money along the way. They arrived when he said they would every time, a pleasure to deal with. Even doing a few other jobs at our house at the same time. I will certainly be calling for their help again when wiring up the basement in the future. Thanks so much for the pleasant and fast and efficient service. I would recommend Wire Guys to everyone.
We recently purchased a 220 volt hot tub and feel very fortunate with choosing Todd of Wire Guys to meet our electrician needs. From the initial engagement with Todd, we found him approachable which put us at ease about the project. He explained our house’s existing electrical infrastructure and changes needed for a 220 volt wiring leading to the hot tub in the back yard. When the hot tub arrived, we were delayed for a few days by inclement weather until Todd called us with the news of a two hour break in the rain per a weather forecast and coordinated a visit to complete the project. Despite the slight rain drizzle, Todd completed the project with enthusiasm. Todd is a true professional and willing to share his expertise in a friendly manner but what distinguishes Todd as a great electrician was his concern for customer care as evidenced by his willingness to finish the project despite the inclement weather. I highly recommend Todd from Wire Guys for your electrician needs.
I cannot recommend them enough! They fit me right in and installed two ceiling lamps and two sconces in under an hour! Also—very nice to talk to and easy to work with.
