Zuck Painting is a Marlborough, Massachusetts painting contractor offering interior and exterior residential and commercial painting, cabinet painting, power washing, gutter work, and carpentry, marketing itself across a Massachusetts/Rhode Island/Connecticut footprint and self-reporting 10 years in business since 2016. The company holds an active Massachusetts home improvement contractor license and an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.
The review record is large and mostly very strong, especially for exterior painting projects that combine paint with carpentry and rot repair. Reviewers describe full repaints of large or architecturally complex homes — a 93-year-old brick Tudor, a three-story Victorian, a two-story colonial — often including replacing rotted trim, clapboards, or shingles as part of the job, and several reviewers specifically praise office staff, including project coordinator Kathleen and owner/manager Yuri, for keeping them informed throughout multi-week projects.
Two things are worth knowing before booking. First, a safety-record database shows OSHA conducted a complaint-initiated inspection of Zuck Painting Inc at its Southbridge, MA location on February 6, 2024, and documented one serious violation before closing the case in February 2026; the source does not specify what the violation involved. Second, the written review record includes two detailed negative accounts distinct from the overwhelming majority of praise: a 2024 review of a kitchen cabinet painting job described poor communication throughout and the reviewer's house being left unlocked with lights on every day the crew worked; and a 2021 review described pressure washing performed incorrectly and a contracted repair — renailing lifted boards — not carried out as specified, with the reviewer unsatisfied by the owner's response when they raised it.
The company holds a 5.0-star average from 82 Google reviews, 4.7 stars from 26 Angi reviews, and 5.0 stars from 11 HomeAdvisor reviews. Recent activity is strong, with 8 reviews in the last six months and none negative.
Outside of those specific accounts, the rest of the written record is consistently strong — reviewers describe attentive prep work, protection of surrounding surfaces, fair pricing, and crews that stayed on schedule even on demanding, detail-heavy jobs.
Zuck Painting is a strong option for exterior painting paired with carpentry and rot repair on larger or older homes, backed by a deep record of detailed praise. Given the OSHA finding and the two specific complaints above, it's worth asking directly about jobsite safety practices and confirming security procedures and contract specifics, such as any repair scope, in writing before work begins.
