The company says it has been veteran-owned and operated since 1975, with a master plumber and licensed HVAC technicians on staff. It averages 4.8 across 416 Google ratings and 4.6 across 96 on Thumbtack. Customers name their technician and say they want the same one back. Nick turns up through the spring of 2026 for explaining what he found before touching anything — a spigot replacement and a water-pressure fix in April, then an AC tune-up in May where he photographed what he saw and laid out upgrades without pushing them. Bigger work moves quickly as well: in a May 2026 review a homeowner said Ross and a crew of five started replacing both furnaces and the AC two days after the walkthrough, and a March 2026 customer, 78 and not mobile after surgery, had a Bryant furnace in and running in about six hours with a ten-year warranty. In February 2026 a plumber came out on a holiday weekend for a broken pipe and lined up a company to handle the water damage. Pricing is the recurring complaint, and it is specific. A November 2024 customer was charged over $650 for an hour of diagnostics and wrote that the office would not put the plumber on the phone to explain it. A January 2024 reviewer paid $375 for ten minutes of plunging a shower drain. A May 2024 homeowner was quoted $1,500 for what the plumber called a couple of hours of work on a vanity drain and tub, and told readers to price-shop. An April 2025 customer with an intermittent gas furnace was told after the visit that a $1,322 inductor motor was to blame. A November 2025 reviewer called the owner unresponsive and unprofessional. Two more things to weigh. The Better Business Bureau grades the company F and shows three complaints on file. And the state registry lists its Massachusetts plumbing licence, 4900-PL-C, as expired. For the emergency — a dead water heater, a tenant with no heat, a furnace that quit — they answer and they arrive, and the install crews get as much credit for the cleanup as for the work. Before anyone comes out, get the diagnostic fee and the hourly rate in writing, ask for the repair quote itemised before it starts, and ask where that plumbing registration stands.
