413 misinstalled a water heater that turned out to be incompatible with our heating system. 4 years into multiple malfunctions, and costly repairs with multiple technicians - all of whom should have known better - the unit began to expel 40+ gallons of scalding water into our basement every 2-3 days. It took me calling the manufacturer and talking multiple times with tech support to discover that the unit is incompatible and should have never been installed. Tech support said that any worthy plumber/HVAC professional should have known, as the incompatibility is stated in the installation manual. Despite the lifetime warranty, we have to tear out the entire system and start over. While we initially liked 413 we stopped working with them because we felt we could not trust them or their work. Homeowners are not plumbing or HVAC experts. We put our faith in technicians and hope we will be treated with respect and honesty. Mistakes happen. I believe they realized they made a mistake with the unit, but rather than admit the fault and correct it, they finagled the plumbing to get it to mostly work most of the time. I remember it took them a full 8 hours to install the unit, and then they had to come back a few days later because it wasn't working properly. We didn't have a great feeling about the experience...but we decided to trust them. I regret that we didn't call the situation into question. Every plumber who has been in our house since has been shocked by the setup. It's such a bummer. I was so excited to support a local, woman-owned business. I have no desire to hurt 413's business - I just feel it's important that people know when a grave mistake has been made. This one experience has cost us a great deal of money, time, stress, and peace of mind - none of which can be refunded.

Our furnace went down on Sunday. After I called about getting someone out here sooner, explaining we have a newborn in the home, the amazing receptionist went above and beyond to get someone here asap! Amazing communication. Craig the technician was so wonderful to deal with and very professional. He made this situation so much easier to deal with by making me feel comfortable and he actually cared! 10/10 recommend!

Team here is top notch. From support to the work being done Had my boiler fully cleaned for winter without an issue. When my heat went out, they came out quickly without question. And have gone above and beyond to help solve the issues of the house. Would definitely recommend and their technician is really knowledgeable across a bunch of areas. Hes also very friendly and open talking through the work.

The owner was really friendly and knowledgeable. She helped with all my questions and made the process very easy.
