Mass Green Insulation

Mass Green Insulation is a family-owned, self-reported Latino-owned insulation contractor based in Hingham, established in 2012, offering spray foam, fiberglass, blown-in cellulose, waterproofing, fireproofing, and ROCKWOOL insulation across New England. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. The review record is unusually deep and consistent: 111 reviews from 2021 to 2026 average 4.9 stars on Google, and the vast majority describe the same things — punctual crews, careful protection of the work area, and clear explanation of the insulation plan before work begins. A 2025 review describes an older home fully insulated top to bottom during a remodel, leaving the house noticeably quieter with no drafts. Reviewers who work with the company repeatedly — other contractors, subcontractors, and one homebuilder who has used them for several years — describe reliable scheduling and consistent quality across many separate jobs, including one describing 13 completed insulation jobs across multiple properties. Pricing comes up often as competitive, with several reviewers saying they shopped around and Mass Green's quote came in favorably. One 2022 review is a clear exception, describing surprise charges and hidden fees that made the final bill feel unfair — a genuine complaint worth weighing against the otherwise strong pricing record. The company's Better Business Bureau grade is an F, which stands apart from its overwhelmingly positive review record elsewhere — worth asking about directly before booking. For insulation work of real scale and complexity across New England, the volume and specificity of praise from repeat customers and fellow contractors make a strong case, though the BBB grade is worth a closer look.
