Propane delivery, tank installation and gas-line hookups are the services A-1 Propane & HVAC advertises. Its website offers free estimates, and Google lists 4.3 stars from 27 ratings. A January 2023 customer described a propane-tank installation for a whole-house generator. Lance Roberts evaluated the location and said he would handle permits with the town; Dave and Vinyl installed the tanks and plumbing lines. The customer praised the secure anchoring and explanations during the work. In a February 2024 review, Veterans Base Camp’s assistant director said A-1 delivered propane during a December 2023 storm after the nonprofit lost electricity and ran out of generator fuel. According to that account, the crew also helped bleed the lines and restart the generator. Delivery complaints appeared in February 2026. One customer said a February 4 delivery never arrived, subsequent promised visits also failed to happen, and calls through February 9 did not produce a delivery. Another reported waiting three days after running out, a card charge and another postponement. A third described delayed callbacks and weather-related delivery problems, then updated the review to say the issue was resolved with Lance. A separate February 2026 customer praised help at short notice and the price. In September 2022, a customer alleged that a worker arrived unannounced, questioned the customer’s daughter about a moved tank, walked around the property without permission and left an unpleasant voicemail. A November 2022 customer, by contrast, described advance notice of a missed next-day delivery and an arrival first thing the following morning.
Great service. They helped me out big time with short notice. Good prices too. Definitely recommend
Not great service. Waited hours for anyone to call me back. Communication was just not there. Delivery was supposed to happen Monday but apparently the truck could not make it up. I cleared and salted the driveway for delivery today and now I’m told it will come Wednesday maybe. Update: issued resolved with Lance.
Friendly staff and quality work
On 02/04/26 I filled out a request for a propane delivery scheduled for 5:30. pm. They called me at 5:00 pm to make sure the path was shoveled. It was. Then they never showed up. I called the next day and they said "oops". Said they would be there on the 5th or 6th. Again, never showed up. Called on 02/07 and "due to the snow, there were no trucks on the road but they would be there the next day. Never showed up. Called on 02/09 and they found my "ticket" but then said they'll let me know.....Never heard back from them again....
I have been trying to get propane for 3 days since I've ran out they say that they will call me back and never do they charged my card and told me it would be delivered today and I am now told at 3 pm that it will be delivered tomorrow which more then likely is a lie as well would not recommend 👍🏽
