Service Relief is a plumbing company whose website lists drain cleaning, hydro jetting, sewer line work, water filtration, generators and tankless water heaters, with a stated service area running from Manchester through Hartford, Glastonbury, South Windsor and Vernon. The company says it has been in business seven years. Its Connecticut plumber license, number PLM.0289268-P1, is active on the state registry, held by Service Relief LLC. A customer had a sump pump and backwater valve replaced by Armando Centeno and Dan, who explained the repairs and left the area clean and tidy. One customer said Armando walked them through the entire process of a sump pump installation. Juan installed two outdoor faucets for a customer who called the workmanship clean and properly sealed. A 2026 customer said Juan mapped and tracked pipes inside a concrete slab foundation so foundation repairs could begin without the pipes being drilled into. A 2025 customer said a crew replaced and redesigned the sewage pipes and placed devices to prevent back flow during storms. In 2024, a customer said a leaking water heater was replaced in a little less than two hours. A 2025 customer said a boiler's automatic feeder stopped working two months after Service Relief installed it, and that the company denied responsibility once the one-year warranty had expired. A 2024 customer said they were told a five-year-old heating unit needed replacing for $8k, and that another company repaired it the same day for less than $500. A 2025 customer said a faucet installed in 2024 began leaking in the basement and the repair was quoted at over $800.
Armando texted to remind me of the appointment, and arrived exactly on time. He is personable respectful and knowledgeable. His looks impeccable! He explained what he had done and made suggestions regarding additional work that I might want to have done.
Boiler maintenance. Arrived on time and did a great job of explaining everything.
Always a great job!
Juan did a great job. Clear explanation of what needed to be done and the price upfront, and then got the job done quickly.
I had to have my sump pump and backwater valve replaced, and I’m so glad I had Armando Centeno and Dan take care of it. They were incredibly professional, communicative, friendly, and respectful throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain the repairs to me and made sure I understood everything, which I really appreciated. It’s clear that they truly care about their customers and treat people like family and friends. They also left the area clean and tidy when they were finished. I couldn’t have asked for better service! I will definitely use this company again in the future and highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you, Armando and Dan, for making what could have been a stressful experience such a positive one!
