John at A-1 Quality Installs in Taunton did a fantastic job putting in my pool liner. He went above and beyond going to the pool store couple towns over on a Sunday to get new hoses for my filter. Great work and reasonable prices. John and his Company are definitely 5 star.
Jon did a great job installing my pool. He even reached out to check in while I was figuring everything out. I went with him because he had the soonest date and the best price. He was very responsive answering my questions before he got there and was very helpful the day of install. He had great advice and knows what he’s doing. He was just a really nice guy! He couldn’t finish that day due to my yard being rocky, I appreciate that he cared enough to do the job right. He was supposed to come back in 2 days but had a health issue. He was still responding while recovering and came back within the week and finished the job. I wanted to write a review because I was concerned reading some old reviews but I would absolutely recommend Jon!
I highly recommend Jon for any pool work! He recently repaired our skimmer, patched a rust hole, and installed a new liner, and the quality of the work is top-notch. Beyond the great craftsmanship, Jon goes above and beyond for his clients. He actually suggested I buy a pool pad online to save some money. When it looked like the pad wouldn't arrive in time for the installation, he generously offered to use his own pad so the job wouldn't be delayed, agreeing to just take the one I ordered once it arrived. We ran into an issue with the pad I bought, but Jon was incredibly understanding and we got it resolved quickly. I am totally happy with Jon and the work he did. Professional, honest, and great to work with!
I’ve had a two year contract for over 20,000 since March 2025, for a refurbishing of my cement pool with liner, water pipes, skimmers etc to date still not completed. Jon has not taken any ownership for his lack of communication and unprofessional text messages, only labor done in 2 years is pump out existing water and dug out water pipe trenches which he left unattended without caution tape or cover up due to safety guidelines. I also paid Jon for a new vinyl fence of 7000 which is not completed as well. He left one panel in the back yard exposed for patrons to walk into my back yard … fall in the 5 inch trenches … took his materials on Friday before Memorial Day and basically texted find someone else to complete the project , after he has already been paid a substantial amount taken advantage of me a retired 63 year old that had lost her husband suddenly 7 years ago who was a contractor for over 20 years and would be appalled how Jon has treated me and taken advantage. I want a refund for the money I paid that was not applied to the contract labor or materials. I’ve given Jon numerous opportunities to make this finally right after 2 years waiting for the supposedly completion date of Memorial Day last year and now this one still not completed …beyond frustrated … and angry for his false promises of the contract I signed last March if 2025. I am pursuing with BBB snd AG s office as well as local police department for fraud, theft from deception is a criminal charge and I’m going forward … it’s the money … my anguish .. the principle for taking my money and not completing the project. Beware …. don’t be taken advantage of like I was … so wrong so deceitful.
John is the absolute worst bottom feeder of a human being. He preyed on my elderly mother charging her $8,500 for a liner replacement. She paid him in April 2025; the liner didn't arrive until late July and then he wasn't prepared to install it until late August. He also said he would 'try' to fix leveling, but it would be thousands more. My mother didn't want him to 'try' and had lost confidence due to the many excuses for the liner being delayed among other issues, when initially he said it would be a few weeks. So she called another company. They measured with a laser and Johns measurements were WRONG. He said he would reimburse her for the liner if the measurements were wrong, I sent him proof as he requested. He still refuses. So now we have to go through the hassle of small claims. This guy is the worst a truly disgusting human being that took advantage of an elderly person. You, John left her with a SWAMP when you uncovered her pool in April and let is sit stagnant. Then you John, kept delaying the liner's arrival. BTW: The new company got their liner in 1 and 1/2 weeks. You John, said you would refund her the cost of the WRONG SIZE liner which is YOUR ERROR not hers. There's no way you're sticking her with the bill. There's absolutely NO WAY these other reviews are real. I don't buy it for a second.
