A Plus Drains LLC is a Lynn-based drain and sewer specialist working Boston-area jobs, focused by its own account on sewer and drain cleaning, unclogging, and preventive maintenance. In a 2025 review, a homeowner described a non-emergency sewer line inspection: the technician, Greg, showed up within 24 hours as scheduled, found roots clogging the line at the 55-yard mark, cleared them, and offered a discount for handling the extra work in one trip rather than two. An earlier 2024 review credits the same tech with a fast fix on a backed-up washing-machine drain, arriving within a few hours of the call. Its Massachusetts plumber license is active, and BBB lists the company at 15 years in business, though it isn't BBB-accredited and carries no rating there. Both accounts describe the same thing: prompt arrival and clear, upfront communication about extra costs before doing the work.

A+ Drains sent Greg to perform a sewer line inspection on my house. Even though it was a non-emergency, Greg arrived, as scheduled within 24 hours of my call. Greg is extremely professional and knows his work as well as anyone can. The inspection revealed ample roots in the drain which Greg was able to remove. He communicated clearly about the additional service, it's cost and even provided a discount because it could be performed in one trip, not two. After clearing the roots, at the 55 yard mark, he encountered an "inverter". It was a large trap to transition to another sewer line at a lower elevation. It appeared the inspection would end there, leaving my mind to never know about the remaining 150 feet of sewer line. After a trip back up to ground level, a mental health break (me) a site walk by Greg, his employment of special pipe location machine, we re-entered the basement. Greg was determined to solve the mystery. Then Greg performed a miracle - he jumped the inverter with his camera (mind you the camera has no steering or elevation controls - only a forward and backward motion through a pipe entry 55 feet upstream, around a corner). Entry into the 2n'd section of sewer line (150 feet) Greg confirmed that we have clear sailing with no root intrusion. What is that kind of peace-of-mind worth? If you want cheap, call someone else. If you want proper, superior expertise, and a unrelenting attitude to complete the job, A+ Drains is your savior. Ask for Greg. .
Greg did a great job fixing our washing machine sink drain which backed up. He came within a few hours and fixed it quickly which we very much appreciated.
