A Zap Pest Control

Yellow jacket nests under a sunroom and in the ground, along with hornets nesting on a tarp, were problems customers described in Google reviews written in August 2025 about A Zap Pest Control. The business is based in Palmer. In the August 24 review, a customer said Aimee removed yellow jackets from beneath a sunroom whose foundation was tightly enclosed with cinder blocks, praising the speed and affordability. A separate August 15 reviewer thanked the business for removing an in-ground yellow jacket nest and praised its fast response, easy appointment setting and affordable pricing. One hornet job required a return treatment. In an August 29, 2025 review, a customer described a nest on a tarp covering bikes and a kayak. They said Aimee answered their questions, scheduled an appointment for the next day, arrived on time and explained the treatment. After finishing, she told them to give it 48 hours and call if they saw more hornets. The customer reported seeing more, said Aimee returned the next day to re-treat the area, and concluded, “Problem solved!” That reviewer described A Zap as a family-owned business. In a September 15, 2025 review, another customer described a large white-faced hornet nest in a propane tank lid. They praised Aimee’s knowledge, communication and prompt responses as she helped them work toward a solution. Lynne Sullivan, identifying herself as being in Belchertown, wrote on September 30, 2025 that she had used A Zap twice for yellow jacket nests and praised Aimee’s affordability, communication, reliability and thoroughness. Google’s September 2026 listing showed a 5-star average from 10 ratings.
